Hi, I’m Emily.
I’m a Holistic Nurse Coach. No, I don’t just coach nurses. I coach all types people. I meet you where you are. And help you navigate from there to where you want to be. I have been a nurse since 2008. Over the last 15 years I have learned so much through working as a nurse. I use the knowledge I have gathered during this time to help support my clients.I became a nurse because I love science. I believe the human body is an amazing creation and I am constantly in awe and wonder of what our bodies can do. I also care deeply for others. I became a nurse because I wanted to help others. But I quickly realized the conventional model of medicine does not always create wellness. I found myself in the same place I saw many of the patients I cared for. My body wasn’t functioning how it should. I was exhausted. My hormones were a mess. I would cry to and from work every day because of the anxiety and unhappiness I felt. My body literally shut down. I went though sleep studies, MRIs , blood work, ultrasounds…. To try to feel better. From migraines, to chronic fatigue to aches and pains I felt like I was falling apart. I have found over the last decade that wellness is really about wholeness.
It’s about feeding your body nutritious food. Moving your body, loving your body. Using supplements to meet nutritional needs that you aren’t getting from food.
It’s about incorporating sunlight and nature into your daily routine. Using all the Biohacks from breathwork to red light therapy and more! It’s the emotional work, it’s the loving yourself, being kind to yourself, finding joy and pleasure in your life and spending time with people you love. It’s all of the things. When I work with my clients this is what we do.
All of the things. And we do it all with grace and acceptance. Knowing some times we will succeed and some we will fail. If you are in the place where you feel stuck.
Your physical body isn’t working the way you want and emotionally and mentally you feel overwhelmed and depressed.
I know this feeling.
You don’t have to feel this way. And you certainly don’t have to feel this way alone. How do you need support in your life?
